Retire your horse the way Mother Nature meant horses to be; in a herd and free to roam
Not suitable for horses prone to founder or colicing

We have 30 acres adjacent to our campground that we are using for horse retirement pasture and run so if you don’t want to pay for full stabling and have your horse retire the way mother nature intend them to be with a herd of other equine then this is the place for your horse.  They have a run in barn with access to water, pasture and hay 24/7 365.  You can visit them anytime (riding not permitted, you could take them of site, Edison Woods is only a couple of miles) to groom and love on them.

We provide grazing and hay only

·         no grain

·         no special feeding (if your horse requires special need it will need to be moved to a full service facility)

·         you are responsible for vet bills (we will notify you in advance if possible)

Fees  

·         Three month deposit (paid up front) or add $40 to the monthly rate for the first year

·         Burial fee $150 (paid up front)

·         Month fee paid in advance by auto pay - $145 full size $125 pony $105 mini (no drafts)

o   Includes

§  Hoof trimming and grooming (6 weekly/bi monthly)

§  Deworming (bi monthly)

If you fail to keep up with payments once the deposit is used up for the monthly fee you must remove your horse or else we will have the right to either sell or put it down

You may visit your horse to groom and give it lots of loving.  As this is a retirement special pricing rate riding isn’t permitted

Your horse will be introduced to the herd over a two week period and if it proves to not want to be part of the herd you must remove it and we will give you a full refund
