This is to be a fun time designed to test your horsemanship and your horses ability to accept new challenges in a forever changing environment.  The course may contain as many as 50 obstacles or challenges each worth a predetermined amount of points based on time and difficultly.  Classes are under 14 - beginners, 14 - 17 - novice, 18 and over  ladies,  18 and over  men, 50 and over - senior or open.  You can only enter one class so if you want to compete against everyone you enter the open class.  There will also be most improved in each class. 

Winners of each class will receive gift certificates for a future event and the winner of the open will also get a complimentary weekend at BHHP

Day 1 you will get to try out the course twice to help determine what you and your horse can do to get the most points

Day 2 Competition day (we want to try to finish by mid afternoon so you can get home at a reasonable hour)

Ground tie horse and walk 20’ away                            Ride over mole hills                                          Weave poles

24” jumps                                                                       Ride into trailer tie up horse exit front then enter rear and take out horse

Ride over the timbers                                                    Pick ball off construction cones and put on another

Crack bull whip                                                             Ride into Lake 3 ’deep and up hill                     On foot back your horse into stall                    

Saddle up horse                                                             Swim through lake over Island                           Ride over tarp

Ride over teeter totter                                                   Ride through narrow sided walk                        Side step between fences

Bare back                                                                       Canter carrying American flag                          Walk over crisscrossed timbers on tarp

Ride through 12” water, then 24” then 36”                    Ride 12” jump down then 24” then 36”             Turn 360* with a confine

Ride through touching bushes                                        Swim over lake and up hill                                 Stand on saddle

 Step front feet over log then side step off                     Ride through 12” puddle                                    Ride down hill and over 3’ jump into lake                   

 Jump ditch                                                                     Pick up jolly ball off the ground and put in basket

Shared camping  20 amp, water, sewer $60 w/e

Dry camping $20 per night

Showers and restroom available

Breakfast $5 scrambled eggs, meat, pancakes, juice, coffee

Lunch available concession stand

Dinner BBQ $8

Course Fees $35 for the 2 days $20 a day

This event is being held at a all Seasonals only campground and we ask that you respect their privacy and space

Breakfast, dinner and showers will be at the lodge.

Pre registration 2 weeks prior to event will put you in a drawing to have your riding fees paid for
